14 Day Rule

As of 2013 Florida states that if you are an injured party in any accident involving a vehicle, you have 14 days to see a doctor in order to activate your medical benefits. Failure to initiate treatment within 14 days causes you to lose ALL your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits.
